You Matter: Dining in the Nest (Cancelled)
Have you wanted to make new friends but feel anxious or have a hard time finding their community. Have you been stressed out about going to the Commons or Stingers? Then this is the event for you!! We invite you to join the CPS Peer Counselors for lunch! No Meal Plan necessary. Space is LIMITED so please RSVP. Feeling Overwhelmed and looking to get "Unstuck"? 识别, 洞察力, Openness (RIO) is a 3-week, curriculum-driven workshop designed to help students gain insight into their concerns, develop a clear sense of what they would like to change in their lives, and identify tools and concrete strategies to reduce feelings of stress and improve emotional functioning. RIO teaches students techniques for recognizing and moving past situations that cause stress, 挫折, 和焦虑. Manage and reduce anxiety. Adapt to new challenges. Understand your thoughts and feelings, WITHOUT judgment or shame. Move beyond feeling “stuck”. Take the initiative to step out of your comfort zone. RIO #1 will meet virtually for 3 consecutive weeks: Thursday, 五月 23, 五月 30, and 小君e 6 at 2:00pm.
